I Remember - Old McDonald

I remember sitting on my daddy's knee while he balanced his guitar on the other knee and played and sang to me.

I liked it when he played songs that I could sing along with, like 'Old McDonald' and 'B.I.N.G.O.'. But I liked it best when he would sing songs to me that I didn't sing along, like 'Red River Valley', 'The Old Rugged Cross', & 'Amazing Grace'.

His voice sounded to me like an angel. He had a very smooth strong voice that would fill my soul when he sang to me. I loved him more than breathing in those moments.
