I’ve spent my lifetime writing these poems. Meaning that each one was pulled from a specific time in my life and I placed them in an order that would portray, to some small degree, where life has taken me. It has been a journey that has spanned many countries and has allowed me to live in almost every state in the USA.
It has not been an easy journey, but it has been blessed and magical. The tales that are told are some mine and some that I encountered along the way. Some portrayed the tragedies I faced, some the hope I found.
All were felt deeply.

Poetry is by far one of the most passionate ways of expressing the human condition through art. Poets are born to be very keen observers and participants in the passions of life.
Poets are also blessed with the ability, or rather the instinct to express the passion around them with words and rhythm. I say instinct because the poetry is something that just flows from me when I am overwhelmed by the passions of life occurring around me. I could no more stop the flow than I could voluntarily stop breathing. It is a base instinct. It is simply the way I express what I am experiencing.
Poetry can give us deeper insight into our world and the worlds of others around us.
